Czech Ministry of Transport published two dedicated calls for modernisation of vessels

The Czech Ministry of Transport published first two calls which are part of unique dedicated state aid scheme “Support for modernisation of inland waterway transport“. The calls are open from 1 September – 10 November 2017. The calls address two sub-programmes:
- Sub-programme 2: Modernisation of vessels to increase multi-modality of freight transport supports the acquisition and replacement of outer plating, including the replacement of components of the vessel affected by the replacement of the outer plating
- Sub-programme 3: Modernisation of vessels leading to increased safety of inland waterway transport supports:
- Purchasing lightweight stacking covers for the cargo compartment, incl. installation in the vessel
- Raising hatchways, including the purchase of material
- Purchasing transportation frames for passenger cars
- Broadening a vessel (push boats) or prolonging a vessel, incl. materials
- Broadening of hatchways, incl. the purchase of material
The beneficiaries the vessel owners owners or operators of inland waterway vessels registered in the Czech Republic. All eligible beneficiaries can receive up to 75% co-financing in case of the medium enterprises and up to 85% in case of small companies.
