The CCNR supports the introduction of RIS along and on the river Rhine, including through resolutions concerning the implementation of these RIS technologies and the associated services.
Likewise, mandatory electronic reporting will be extended to tanker shipping with effect from 1st December 2018. The workshop will also be opportunity to approach this recent resolution.
The workshop will be aimed at navigation professionals, at applications developers and at manufacturers and companies that install RIS devices, at river police, at the authorities responsible for administering navigable waterways, at those in charge of logistics, and at the River Commissions and other international organisations.
