Database

This section provides information on three important databases operated by EIBIP / INDanube, namely: the IWT innovation radar, knowledge database and funding database.

The Innovation Radar and the Knowledge Database support innovators by suggesting a range of targeted actions to assist them in fulfilling their potential in the market. It is an initiative that involves:

• Assessing the maturity of innovations developed within the FP7 and H2020 projects and identifying high potential innovators and innovations
• Providing guidance during the project duration in terms of the most appropriate steps to reach the market
• Supporting innovators through EU (and non-EU) funded entrepreneurship initiatives to cover specific needs concerning networking, access to finance, Intellectual Property Rights, etc.

EIBIP with the help of the three innovation centres is responsible for managing and maintaining a Funding Database which was built on the work done within the scope of EU-funded Platina-II project. The database consists of public funding possibilities for IWT projects and shall be periodically updated with information from the regional innovation centres. The Funding Database is smartly designed and user-friendly and gives immediate access to relevant subsidy schemes for specific country/region.
